In April 2024, the AWG of the EC has published updated demographic, economic and budgetary projections for EU member states within the framework of the AR2024. In this context, the CNFP has just published an Assessment of long-term fiscal sustainability, its fourth evaluation of this kind and that follows three earlier evaluations from October 2021, October 2017 and June 2018.

The CNFP - as an independent institution under the 12 July 2014 law - recently adopted its latest "Assessment of Public Finances". This assessment is based on the so-called "Stability and Growth Programme 2024-2027" presented by the Government in late April and sent to the European Commission on 25 April.
